Project Notes
The client need
Edified needed a short video to introduce the Enquiry Experience Tracker, a syndicated research program that helps education institutions understand how well they respond to prospective student enquiries. The video needed to explain the service clearly, support an award nomination, and remain useful for ongoing product promotion.
What I created
I created a concise explainer video combining piece to camera, animated overlays and motion graphics. The video explained the core problem, how student mystery shoppers place enquiries, how responses are scored and benchmarked, and how institutions receive personalised reports with practical recommendations.
The approach
The project involved close collaboration with Edified’s client team and freelance graphic designer to translate existing visual designs into motion. I animated key information from the service, including student personas, enquiry channels, global benchmarking, scoring models and report outputs, so the video could explain the product without becoming too dense or static.
The motion graphics were designed to support the presenter, not compete with them. By combining clear edit structure, branded overlays and animated report visuals, the final piece made a specialist education consulting service feel more engaging, visual and easy to understand for a time-poor professional audience.
